가장 이노션다운 워크플레이스를 위해 임직원들이 오피스에서 느낄 경험, EX(Employee eXperience)를 중심으로 공간을 기획한 프로젝트이다.

공간 기획 시 가장 중요한 것은 이노션의 정체성과 이노션의 업무 특성을 파악하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 오랜 기간 이노션 전사 직원을 대상으로 직원 FGI, 임원인터뷰, 전사 설문조사를 진행하였으며 이를 바탕으로 이노션의 밸류 키워드와 컨셉 키워드를 도출 하였다.

Space Concept “창작과 혁신이 자유자재로 일어나는 활동적이고 유기적인 워크플레이스” 공간컨셉을 바탕으로 이노션의 일하는 방식을 담은 워크스페이스, 사람들을 모이게 하는 특화공간인 피벗스페이스, 창의적 유기성을 위한 공간 경험 동선, 볼륨/정체성/기능을 담은 담백한 파사드까지 공간기획 단계에서 진행하였다.

공간기획 완료 후 공간경험설계에서는 공간기획의 의도가 구현된 공간환경을 구축하기 위해 건축뿐만아니라 인테리어, 가구, 조명, 사이니지, 웨이파인딩 시스템까지 통합된 토탈 공간 디자인을 수행하고 있다. 이노션만의 디자인 스탠다드를 설정해 이노션이 지향하는 가치가 반영된 공간을 설계하여 미래에 변화하는 다양하고 새로운 업무 방식과 문화를 담은 혁신적인 워크플레이스의 기준을 만들고자 한다.

This project was planned with a focus on Employee Experience (EX), aiming to create the most “Innocean-like” workplace that reflects what employees will truly experience within the office.

The most important aspect during the space planning phase was to understand Innocean’s identity and the unique nature of its work. To achieve this, we conducted extensive research over a long period, including employee FGIs (Focus Group Interviews), executive interviews, and company-wide surveys. Based on these findings, we derived Innocean’s core value keywords and conceptual direction.

The space concept is defined as “an active and organic workplace where creativity and innovation happen freely and naturally.” Based on this concept, we developed several key elements during the planning stage: workspaces that reflect Innocean’s way of working, specialized “pivot spaces” designed to bring people together, spatial flows that support creative and organic experiences, and a simple yet expressive façade that captures volume, identity, and function.

After the spatial planning phase, the design of the spatial experience focused on creating an environment that embodies the original intent. This included not only architecture, but also interior design, furniture, lighting, signage, and a wayfinding system—delivering a fully integrated total space design.

By establishing a dedicated design standard for Innocean, we aim to build a space that reflects the values Innocean pursues, and to set a new benchmark for innovative workplaces that embrace diverse and evolving work styles and cultures of the future.
