오디세이 빌리지는 인천시 중구 운북동 골든테라시티에 조성되는 리조트형 시니어 복합주거 프로젝트로 엑티브시니어를 위한 새로운 주거의 방향을 제안한다. 삶의 여정이 어느 한 시점에서 정체되거나 축소되는 것이 아니라, 나이가 들어서도 여전히 배우고 관계 맺고 탐험할 수 있다는 철학 아래 “웰니스 저니 타운(Wellness Journey Town)”을 공간으로 구현한 프로젝트다. 단순한 보호 중심의 시니어 하우징을 넘어 “Well-Exploring / Well-Aging / Well-Living” 이라는 세 가지 축을 기반으로 ‘여행하듯 살아가는 일상’을 제공하는 노인복지주택 모델로 기획되었다.

공간 계획으로는 일반적인 시니어주거 단지처럼 통일된 공간개념을 갖지 않고, 주변 환경 및 사용자의 특성을 각 블록(3BL, 4BL)에 녹여 단지별 캐릭터를 구분하고 다른 공간경험을 제공하고자 하였다. 주변입지조건 및 단지 입주자들의 성향을 외향적인 사람들을 타겟으로 한 4BL은 커뮤니티 저니(Community Journey) 경험을 제공하는 것을 목표로 “오디세이 하버(Odyssey harbor)”로 명칭하고 저층부는 외부 공원과의 자연스러운 접근이 가능하도록 적극적으로 오픈하여 퍼블릭을 단지 내부로 끌어드린다. 단지 입주자들의 성향을 내향적인 사람들을 타겟으로 한 3BL은 퍼스널 저니(Personal Journey) 경험 제공하며 “오디세이 아일랜드(Odyssey island)”로 하고 입주자들의 개별성과 프라이빗한 분위기를 강조한 내부지향적인 공간으로 디자인했다. 입주자들은 각 블록의 특성과 자신의 라이프스타일에 맞는 단지를 선택해 입주할 수 있다.

저층부는 활력과 건강 루틴이 있는 어메니티로 구성되어 있고, 고층부는 고요한 전망과 스페셜한 경험이 있는 프리미엄존으로 수직과 수평이 어우러져서 전체적으로는 크루즈 여행처럼 한 곳에 다양한 흐름이 있는 생활이 완성된다.

Odyssey Village is a resort-style senior mixed-use residential project being developed in Golden Terra City, Unbuk-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. It proposes a new direction for senior living, specifically for active seniors, based on the philosophy that the journey of life does not come to a standstill or diminish at a certain point with age. Instead, it can continue to involve learning, connecting, and exploring. With this belief, the project brings to life the concept of a "Wellness Journey Town" through space. Rather than focusing solely on protection and care, this project is planned as a senior housing model that offers everyday life as if traveling, grounded in three pillars: "Well-Exploring," "Well-Aging," and "Well-Living."

In terms of spatial planning, unlike typical senior housing complexes that maintain a uniform spatial concept, Odyssey Village differentiates each block (3BL, 4BL) by reflecting the surrounding environment and the unique characteristics of its users, thereby providing distinct spatial experiences for each site.

For 4BL, which targets residents with more extroverted tendencies and responds to the surrounding location, the goal is to offer a Community Journey experience. This block is named "Odyssey Harbor" and is designed to be open at the lower levels to naturally connect with the adjacent park, inviting the public into the inner area of the complex.

Meanwhile, 3BL is designed for more introverted residents and offers a Personal Journey experience. Named "Odyssey Island," this block emphasizes individual expression and a private atmosphere, with an inward-facing spatial layout that supports a quieter lifestyle.

Residents can choose the block that best aligns with their lifestyle and preferences, allowing for more personalized living experiences.

The lower floors are composed of amenities that promote vitality and healthy routines, while the upper floors are designed as a premium zone with peaceful views and special experiences. Together, the vertical and horizontal elements of the site combine to form a lifestyle filled with diverse flows—like a cruise journey, all within one place.
